“There is no music education in schools in Turkey. Because it is all done privately, access to musical instruction is the realm of the rich. The Turkish church does feel strongly though that their praise and worship is a gift they have for the worldwide church. We began a camp to train Turkish worship leaders in not just worship leading skills but also in very practical music instruction. We were stunned by what the Holy Spirit did in peoples’ lives as well. We just ran the second camp and some who had attended the first one as new musicians are now the worship leaders in their churches. Pastors & CounsellorsUse your counselling and pastoral care gifts on the coal face of mission, helping Muslim background believers become free of their past, and helping the missionary team to deal with their spiritual struggles. Experience in counselling essential, as is flexibility, a willingness to learn a new language and put your skills to work in a new context.
