DVDs are an amazing tool for evangelism and disciplship in Muslim Central Asia. In this part of the world, many people are only semi-literate and much prefer watching TV/ DVDs to reading books. OM is partnering with others to dub appropriate Christian digital resources into Central Asian languages. Long-term, we would love to see the production of original material too. Both mission and local church leaders see the production and distribution of appropriate DVD materials in local languages as a high priority. But lack of manpower is slowing this process. Our multimedia project offers a unique opportunity to partner with local believers to facilitate the selection, production and distribution of media throughout the country, greatly improving the access of Central Asia's Muslims to the gospel.
